DAY 4 — YOU ARE STRONGER THAN YOUR STORM
Pastor Barnabas
Scripture: Isaiah 43:2 “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.”
Storms are part of life. No matter how anointed, prayerful, or faithful you are, storms will still come. But the good news is this: God never allows a storm that will drown you. Every storm you face is designed to strengthen you, shape you, and elevate you.
When the disciples were terrified in the storm, Jesus was sleeping in the same boat (Mark 4:35–41). The presence of the storm did not mean the absence of God. It meant Jesus wanted to reveal a deeper dimension of His power. Some storms in your life are not sent to destroy you they are sent to reveal God’s glory.
When you walk through fire, God promises that the flames will not consume you (Isaiah 43:2). When the waves rise, His hand holds you. When life becomes overwhelming, His grace carries you. God is not just watching your storm He is in your storm.
You may feel like giving up. You may feel tired, discouraged, or broken. But this is not the end of your story. Storms do not last forever. After every storm, there is a calm. After every trial, there is a testimony. After every midnight, there is a morning.
Job lost everything, but God restored him double (Job 42:10). Paul faced shipwrecks, prison, and beatings, yet he finished strong (2 Timothy 4:7). Daniel slept in a lion’s den but walked out untouched (Daniel 6). You too will rise above your storm.
This storm will not sink you. This battle will not break you. This trial will not end you. You are stronger than you think because God is with you.
Supporting Scriptures:
Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength.”
2 Corinthians 12:9 “My grace is sufficient for you.”
Psalm 34:19 “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him from them all.”
Declaration:
Lord, you are with me in every storm. I will not fear. I will not sink. I will overcome by Your strength. Amen.
